Introducing Solids

When your Baby is Ready for Solids

This is the first step to helping your baby to develop a healthy diet. So there’s no need to rush into anything.

We can help you to know if and when your baby is ready for solids. For the first 4 months breast milk should be baby’s main source of nutrition. We strongly recommend that you resist the temptation to introduce solids before this stage. From 4-6 months (usually 5 months) baby will require more than breast milk.
